Now, as inexplicable as it may seem, direct Denis Villeneuve has delivered a mega-budgeted follow up that manages to pull off the nearly impossible feat of capturing the original films/ nuance, essence, and attitude, all the while pushing forward one of the best detective mysteries put on film.
